My steam account just got hacked and I can't log in to it. Working to resolve it now. If anyone can help I would rly appreciate it.

Out of curiosity: How did it go? Did you get your account back? Did they roll it back to the original state you last logged in? Or did you have to delete a lot of Russian memes the cracker posted all by yourself? ;)

I'm not using Steam myself, but they probably have a detailed guide for that case either in their FAQ or in their forums.
In doubt, contact their customer service.
Also: Consider changing your email password, just in case that's how they got your steam account...
Also also: Consider the possibility that it might have been somebody you know who nicked your account... (I am basing that last bit entirely on speculation.)

That's a good idea actually. It was like a scam set-up, someone told me they accidentally reported my account and I needed to contact steam support. Anyway long story short I wasn't thinking clearly but I've contacted steam support and provided proof of ownership so I should be all good. I didn't have a card linked to my account thankfully.
